Welcome

WebQuoteLFIVE YEARS; and we’re still here! If you are a first-time visitor to Storyboard4 you are welcome. No … genuinely … ignore the forsakes … You are genuinely welcome.

There is one overriding principle: contributors only publish material on Storyboard4 when they have the time and energy. If you’re expecting minute-by-minute updates on our bowel movements go and get yourself a therapist. Some of us have to write ‘shite’ for sundry magazines. Strange, we know, but it helps to pay the rent and ‘utilities’ bills. Sad, but true.

There will be some changes soon on this site, whims of fancy, good ideas and ‘shite’ ideas … You’ll just have to wait and see. THIS SITE HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER! The ‘Lounger’ and ‘HC’ are now in control. “What happens if I press this butto …” BOOOM! “I think if we sneak out of that door over there nobody will notice.” “Was this a ‘palace’ coup?” “Have you ever seen #* ******* **?” “No.” “Good … That’s settled.”

Storyboard4TM recently found a spare half hour to work out why “box.net” was not working. Simple. It was no longer operating in the way it had done and we have had to adjust the link to various collections: Lounger diaries and past S4 posts etc. The link can be found in the left-hand column under “for download”. As a first the S4 posts 2014 are available as a PDF and an ePub. We have quite a lot to learn about ePubs. Oh, and a message to all you ‘spammers’: don’t treat us as if we’re several planks short of a floorboard. We will promote certain campaigns and charities but we generally avoid advertising. If you want to advertise, and you would have to pay, then it is abundantly clear how to contact us. Fifty-sixty links to online sales outlets for ‘rip-off’ shades will go straight in the bin. But then, you’re probably not reading this are you WANKER!

Storyboard4TM is a radical, progressive media collective that spills its bleeding heart out to … local charities and campaigns who seek our assistance. We help them speak; click on “About us/sales talk” above for the full frontal. Our particular bug-bears are: mental health, disability and social care generally.

But, let us guess, that is not why you are here. You want dirt, gossip and … Well, you may have come to the right place. There is only one condition: you have to be serious about your ‘punishment and reward’. Entrance to Storyboard4TM is free; escape is expensive. We are like nits; we grow on you. Think about it.

Current phlegm can be found above. Unfortunately, everyone involved has to make their meagre living in the ‘meeja’ world doing something else. If we could guarantee a living from this you could no doubt expect spittle 24 hours a day. We wouldn’t want that would we? Would we?

Alongside the ever-so-important posts we have regular columns:

• The Lounger diaries: world-famous, utterly puerile, award-winning even (but we don’t like to boast). Click on the menu above or here. The 2014 collection is now available for download as a PDF or ePub (see left hand column). The ePub is not, as yet, compatible with Kindle; we’re working on that.

Paws4thought: two cool cats chew the Tuna. They are not “aristocats”; they are proletariacats. And … “Miaoooow!” How do they pass the time in Feline-land?. Menu above or here.

“We’ve met Lord Lucan”: two crabby, philosophical “do-gooders” who’ve seen it all, been there and … well … are on respite. Actually, they’re both dead in case you hadn’t worked that out. They may be exhumed at a later date (Yuk!). From April 2015 Storyboard4™ will be publishing, for the very first time, a selection of short stories from a pit-head worker from the long-closed Desford (Leicestershire) colliery who died in a mining accident back in the early 1960s. Even relatively small English county villages had ‘industries’ in those days. Click on “Desford tales” above. Tell us what you think.

Storyboard4 endeavours to maintain an ethical editorial policy, drawing on the experience and practice of other, similar, online publishers. If you wish to propose a post or other idea we can be contacted by email.

Left_books1Storyboard4TM editorial collective as proposed by the Lounger and HC
    with no opposition
and a happy new year to you all

“Do you think that visitors and subscribers understand that we are fictional characters?” “Of course they do. They’re not stupid are they? Are they?” “I’m not sure …”

Amazing! This blog looks just like my old one!
It’s on a entirely different topic but it has pretty much the same
layout and design. Great choice of colors!

      • We normally check our “compatibility” with various browsers — Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome etc — but not usually IE since we think it’s ‘shite’.

    4. It all comes together seamlessly to create one hell of a story that, no matter how absurd
it gets, always makes sense. One of the coolest and potentially most confusing
aspects of Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the in-depth augmentation system.
This ability decreases the likelihood of being detected while hacking.

I’ve been browsing online more thn 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting articles like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters annd bloggers made good content as you did,
the web will be much more useful than ever before.

Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you
have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering
which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because
I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking
at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
